Here are some things that can occur with your tax debt collection issue:

Paycheck & Bank Account Levies   The IRS and your state can attach your pay and your bank accounts to collect the tax you owe. They can also levy your retirement accounts and your social security benefits until the tax debt is paid in full.

Property Liens & Seizures  The IRS and your state can seize your property such as houses, cars, land, boats, rental properties, collectibles and other property.

Passport Denial & Revocation  If your tax debt is substantial the IRS can deny the issuing of your passport or revoke it.

Non-Renewal or Denial of Your State Licenses  This includes your driver licenses, occupational and professional licenses, business licenses, hunting and fishing licenses, and others.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an Enrolled Agent of the IRS?

Enrolled agents are tax professionals who have earned the highest credential that the IRS awards in the area of tax representation and have demonstrated expertise in tax matters. Only attorneys, CPAs and enrolled agents can represent taxpayers before the IRS.

Do you charge an hourly fee?

We do not typically charge an hourly fee. We work on a fixed fee basis which will cover all the time we will spend on your case. You won’t have to worry about being charged every time we discuss your case.

Do I really need a tax representation expert? Can’t I just do this myself?

We typically don’t take cases that are small. If your case is small we will direct you on how you can resolve your issue on your own. However, if you owe a substantial amount in back taxes you will want a trusted expert on your side. The IRS will not give you advice that conflicts with their best interest. And yes, the IRS makes mistakes too. In some cases you may receive incorrect information from new, untrained personnel.

How can I pay you when I can’t pay the IRS?

If we feel that we can be of service to a client with financial difficulties we can offer them a payment plan.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Absolutely. Your first meeting with us is free. If we don’t think that it will be worth it for you to hire us we will tell you what you should do next.

Do you still have some concerns or queries?

Feel free to connect with us for further discussion.
